Opposites. Do they really
attract?
From what I see and from my own experience, opposites
repel more than it attracts. If you are in a troubled
relationship, look at it closely. Most of your fights
are due to the fact that both of you are so different.
Think about your circle of friends. Are most of your
friends very much like you? Most likely they are like
you in many ways. That explains why they are your friends.
Birds of a feather flock together and for good reasons.
When it comes to choosing a partner, why wouldn't you
apply to same rule. Why would you go against the grain
and find someone totally different and end up fighting
every friggin week or every day. At first you might
find it interesting that they are so different and that
could be the reason why you were drawn to that person
but after a while, they annoy the hell out of you. Example,
if you are a woman that loves flowers and the man you
are with never buys you flowers. You think to yourself,
if he could just buy me some flowers every now and then,
I would love him so much more. That little voice in
your head, it is really telling you that you need to
find a man that loves to buy her woman flowers. You
don't need to tell him or change him, he just does it
on his own. That is just the type of man he is. Listen
to that little voice in your head. It will give you
many clues that you are ignoring. Read my article about
slowing down and think. If you zoom through life at
a million miles per hour, you miss out on a lot of little
things. |
